The 2019 Grenache Blanc offers subtle aromas of stone fruit, white flowers, lime rind and dried herbs. Vibrant acidity adds zing to a clean, quenching finish. A wet stony character with an expansive feel on the palate. The flavors blossom forward on the tongue. It is dry with a refreshing tang and long lingering finish.   Rhone whites are delicious wines, and most come from France’s Rhone and Languedoc wine regions. Except for Viognier, few California wineries produce the Rhone whites. However, down in Santa Barbara wine country they are making exceptional Rhone style white wine, including this tasty Grenache Blanc.

Fruit harvested at night with 25 brix in early to mid-September.  Upon harvest the grapes were pressed almost immediately using a gentle press cycle.  Juice settled with bentonite at 32 degrees then racked off the sediment and fermented.  100% Stainless steel fermentation and stainless steel aged.
